Dr. Robert E. Cranley, Jr. Death, Cause Of Death – Dr. Robert E. Cranley, Jr., passed away at home in Las Vegas on December 22, 2021, age 88. The cause was myelodysplastic syndrome. He was clear-headed until the last, and faced the inevitable with grace and courage.
“Bob” Cranley, a pathologist, was born in Bloomfield, New Jersey, on October 9, 1933. He trained at the University of Maryland Medical School, taught at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and practiced at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, and Sierra Health Services, Las Vegas.
An avid tennis player, wood artist, birdwatcher and world traveler, Dr. Cranley is survived by his third wife, Aldema; sons Sam and Patrick; daughter Mary, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Donations may be made to Las Vegas Rescue Mission or the Lahaina Restoration Foundation.
